Healthy Futures South Africa
Working alongside the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Solution
Space believes health entrepreneurship can help tackle Africa’s health challenges. With the
support of the Mastercard Foundation, the Healthy Futures South Africa (HFSA) initiative champions groundbreaking health innovations to uplift communities and nurture sustainable health ecosystems.
The Healthy Futures South Africa initiative promotes:
- Youth empowerment: Young entrepreneurs are provided with basic training in entrepreneurial skills to drive both social impact and economic growth.
- Social entrepreneurship: Start-ups with a health focus get help in turning innovative ideas into social enterprises that encourage healthy living.
- Entrepreneurship: The focus is on validating start-ups, value creation, venture acceleration, and commercialisation of start-ups in the health and healthy living sectors.
